Biographie
1952
 
Known, respected and admired for his intellect, his thoughtfulness and his fairness,  John Jay served in various capacities on numerous boards over the years.  These included Bellefield School, JAMPRO, Airports Authority of Jamaica, Petcom and PCJ, Agricultural Credit Bank, Southern Regional Health, as well as Belair School and Jamaica National, among others. An active participant in and contributor to his country on so many levels, he remains sorely missed.

Born in Mandeville at Hargreaves Hospital to Vena Margaret Reynolds Cunningham and John Jay Cunningham, Sr., on October 24, 1952.

involved systems analysis, programming, training and advice for client  companies,
mainly in the Distribution Industry.
Juin 1982
 
Worked as Director and General Manager of Pioneer Chocolate Company Ltd. Sharing joint
responsibility for all aspects of its business, including but not limited to finance and
accounting, manufacturing operations, procurement and export sales.

Married Christalia Olga Volaitis, second daughter of Sultana Parasheles and the Reverend Constantine Eleutherios Volaitis, both of Connecticut, USA.

Appointed Justice of the Peace for the parish of Manchester.

Appointed to the Jamaica National Building Society (JNBS) Board of Directors where he served until he died.
